Uttarakhand State Co-operative Federation has a distinct identity as an apex cooperative institution in the state, which supplies fertilizers, organic fertilizers, certified seeds and agricultural defense chemicals to the farmers through cooperative societies since its inception. Along with this, according to the policy of the government under the Price Support Scheme, while doing the work of buying paddy/wheat, it provides fair price to the farmers for their produce. Apart from this, the Federation has its own Ayurvedic medicine units CDF Ranikhet district Almora and UMPL Halduchaud Haldwani,District Nainital also supplies Ayurvedic medicines to government hospitals in the state and outside the state.
The Federation is continuously marching towards the growth of its business. By purchasing the organic crops produced by them at reasonable prices from the farmers residing in remote areas of Uttarakhand, the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation will do online marketing of these products under its brand name, for which online platform is being prepared by the Federation.
The State Co-operative Federation works for the interests of the farmers of the state and will always be committed to do whatever possible work is possible for the upliftment of the farmers.
